NAPIER INCIDENT

DEATH FBOM INJURIES. Admitted to the Napier Hospital between 1.30 and 2 o’clock on Wednesday morning suffering from head and other injuries allegedly received in an incident in a. Napier club, Mr Ernest Arthur Coe. a ' retired insurance manager, aged 74, died on Saturday. An inquest was opened before the District Coroner (Mr J. S.M.), and was adjourned sine die. Evidence of identification was given by Mr Frederick William Burton, manager of tho Hawke’s Bay Club, of which Mr Coe was a member. Mr Coe came out from England many years ago, and finally settled in Napier as manager of an insurance society, retiring several years ago.
