TERRITORIAL INSTRUCTION.

Territorial parades in Feilding are now being...well attended by members who arc showing enthusiasm in their training, which has now ' reached a most interesting phase, involving instruction in various classes of weapons. Lieutenant C. A. Loch stated last evening that the roll of members has been purged and Territorials who have absented themselves from the parades without reasonable excuse have been removed from the list; it was essential that the parades be attended regularly and the work taken seriously. The following promotions have been announced : R- C. Hamilton from private to corporal; R. W. Durrant, S. C. Parkes, G. Jaggard and B. A. Hogg from privates to lance-corporals. Preparations for the Anzac Day parade will be made next week.
