QUEEN'S BROADCAST. (British Official Wireless.) v RUGBY, April 13. The Queen attended a reception to j celebrate the eighty-fifth anniversary of the founding of the Young. Women's Christian Association and in the course of a broadcast which was relayed to Canada and the United States Her Majesty said: “Never, 1 suppose, has the association had a more responsible part to play in the world than to day. Christian standards and values are being challenged at all points and a purely, material conception of life offered in j their place. It is for you younger members to take up the challenge. “As individuals you can each do your part in witnessing to the eternal truths, but as one great fellowship! nledged to Christian ideals your influence will l>e invincible, and will spread, as the symbol the blue t-ri-1 angle has spread already across the five continents and encircling the world. “Tn th° strength of the unbreakable bond which unites the members of a great international association. I wish you all wherever you nr-i v he Godspeed j on your way and God s blessing on your work.”
