I PROVINCIAL EXECUTIVE. | I A meeting of ■ the Wellington cenj tral provincial executive of the W.D.F.U. took place in Palmerston North .yesterday. Airs J. Harris (Turakina) presiding. Also present were Mesdaines W. Howell (Raumai), ScottMaundrell (Hunterville), P. Pa.rman (Mangaweka), It. Gibbs (Taihape), L. Hibberd (Utiku) and the secretary (Mrs W. F. Field, Palmerston North). Mrs Harris drew attention to the increasing consumption of margarine and urged members to co-operate in pointing out the effect of this trade on the dairy industry. Women’s work m war time was also discussed. Arrangements were made for the annual meeting at Marton, and remits for the annual Dominion conference to be held in Wellington in J uly were considered. ,
