TOMATO SAUCE. | Take 1 small tin tomatoes, •} tea- 1 spoonful salt. J teaspoonful pepper, I 1 onion (sliced). 2 tablespoonfuls flour. I 2 tablespoonfuls butter. Cook the, | tomatoes with seasoning and onion for’ I ten minutes; rub through a sieve. ! J There should be one cupful. Molt I blitter and stir in flour; gradually stir | in strained tomato and stir until mix- 1 tore boils and thickens, then cook H throe minutes longer, stirring occas-i 8 ionally, and use as desired. \Km
