BOWLING.
MANAWATU CLUB. Sixty-four players took part in a full rink tournament held by the Manawatu Bowling Club on Saturday. Three games uf one hour each were played and the winning rink skipped by D. Lovelock (Palmerston Noi'tb) annexed first prize with no losses, Lynch (Northern) being runner-up with a total score of 4i. Details arc as lollow, names of skips only being mentioned :—Lovelock, 41 points, 3 wins, Lynch, -18, 2 wins, 1 loss; Davidson, 41, 2 wins; Kershaw, 40, 2 wins; Blake, 35, 2 wins; Corbridge, 33, 2 wins; D. Jones, 30. 2 wins: Mills. 29. 2 "wins, Crump, 29, 1 win; Mason, 28, 1 win; \Y. Robertson. 23, 1 win ; Tantrum, 27, 2 wins; King 27, 1 win; Anderson 29. 1 win; Dixon, 22. 2 wins. The winning rink consisted of Pizzey, Colquhoun, Thorburn, Lovelock HOKOWHITU TOUR XU Y. In a tournament. at the Hokowhitu Club 16 teams took part, including visitors from Marten and Podding. The honours went to a team nominated by J. Child (Palmerston North) and skipped by Clarke (Suva) with Moore’s team (Feilding) second.
