Group-Captain L. M. Isitt, tlic New Zealand representative on the Air Board, has arrived in Canada. The death is reported troin New York of Rev. Stanislaus McGee, O.F.M-, for 30 years a missionary in the Australian hush until 1920. Mr Lloyd George, the veteran Liberal statesman, celebrated on April 10 the golden jubilee of his membership of the House of Commons. He was congratulated by members of all parties. Mr Joseph Alexander Bower, whose death occurred at llawera, this week, was one of the pioneer dairy factory managers in the Taranaki province, his association with the dairy industry dating back to ISUB.
