NEWSPAPER ADVERTISING

RECRUITING DRIVE. A review of the Press campaign m connection with recruiting was given to the National Recruiting Council in Wellington this week by the chairman of the organising and publicity suh-committcc (Hon. D. Wilson, M.L.C.). He said that 45 daily newspapers and 14 weekly or monthly publications were being used embracing every worthwhile newspaper in New Zealand. The combined circulation of all publications included • aggregated 850,000, and the lotal number of collumn inches of advertising space contracted for was 271,107, which was to be used within six months.
