CONCERT PARTY.

An enjoyable concert was given at the Showgrounds, on Thursday, to entertain members of the Maori Battalion, the organisers being members of the Palmerston North branch of the W.D.F.U. Air A. W. Chapman was M.C., and led community singing with Air F. AlcLachlaii at the piano. Songs by Mrs Tamihana. and Earl Andrews, accomx>anied by Miss Joan Andrews, were enjoyed, also dances by Aliss Zoe ltabone and piano-accordion solos by Air Burt. Several items were contributed by members of the battalion. Lieut. Hardy Leaf returned thanks to the Women’s Division.
