Mr and Mrs J. Bain, of Shannon, are visitors to Wellington.
Mr and Sirs P. L. Wright, of Newbury Line, have returned from a visit to Wellington. .Mrs H. Ayson, of Rarotonga, will he the guest of her daughter, Mrs T. M. N. Budget's, of Rangitane Street, for the week-end, before returning home. ‘‘We regret to’ record the passing of Misses E. and L. Penney; although unable to attend our meetings, they have always been interested in the organisation,” states the thirteenth annual report of the Palmerston North branch of the W.D.F.U., presented at the meeting yesterday.
