TRONDHEIM RECAPTURED.
MORE- GERMAN REVERSES. NORWAY’S LOST WARSHIPS. STOCKHOLM, April 10. M. Hambro has confirmed the recapture of Trondheim. It is estimated that 120 Norwegians were killed during the occupation ot Oslo. . r , , . Forty thousand tons of German shipping are reported to have been sunk in Oslo Fiord. The Stockholm radio reports that the Norwegians sank a German warship at Stavanger. British warships blew up a German, transport off Arendal. , , ■ r PRe correspondent adds that nerce fighting is progressing near Oslo. A German ’plane was shot down near Trondheim. * The two Norwegian warships sunk at Narvik were the Norge and Eidsvold, both of 2645 tons. Twenty-seven members of the crew from a total of 560 were saved. The radio announces that King Haakon has refused the demand from the German authorities in Norway to recognise the puppet Government.
