STOCK OX HOADS. At yesterday’s meeting of the Orona County Council reference Was made to the presence of wandering stock on roads in and about Ashhurst. Cr R. Stewart said there had been complaints, and it was decided to draw the attention of the ranger to the matter. Good Roads. Complimentary reference to the work done on various roads in the eastern riding of the Oroua County was made at yesterday’s meeting of the County Council by' Cr R. Stewart, who said the improvements were widely appreciated.
