BADMINTON CLUB.

At the annual meeting of the Palmerston North Badminton Club, on Wednesday, Dr. K. Dean presided. The election of officers resulted : President,; Dr. Dean; vice-president’s, Messrs C. Sytnes and J. Jamieson ; secretary and treasurer, Mr J. T. McDonald; delegates to Manawatu Badminton Association, Messrs G. Simon and Jamieson ; selector, Mr Symes; committee. Misses R. Riddle and V. Sherriff and Mrs Rosa noski, Messrs Simon, D. Gibson and L. ltosanoski. Five new members were elected and the prospects are that many more will be taking part this year. The produce ball at the Showgrounds has been granted for the use of the dub by the A. and P. Association when vacated by the military authorities. In the meantime permission has been granted by the members of the Manawatu Central Badminton Club for the use of their hall.
