SHIPMASTERS WARNED
GERMAN WIRELESS SUBTERFUGE BRITISH GOVERNMENT ACTS. (From Davcntry.) In the wireless broadcasts to-day the British Governmetnt sent out a message to all masters of Danish and Norwegian ships warning them to disregard German wireless broadcasts from Copenhagen and Oslo which instructed them to proceed to neutral ports, including Italian and Spanish. The British warnings, which were issued in Danish and Norwegian, pointed out that -tlie German instructions emanated from stations which were in the hands of the Germans or had been, in the case of Copenhagen, made under German dictation. The shipmasters were instructed by the British Government to proceed to the nearest British or French port for instructions.
