Tn explaining the recent delay in publishing the details of the magnificent response of the Halcombo district to the Fighting Services Welfare Appeal, the chairman of the District Patriotic Committee (Mr T. L. Seddon, Mayor of Feilding) stated that it was due to the uncertainty as to whether several of the donations were intended for the National or Provincial Fund, and not to any fault of the Halcombo committee or collectors.
