WORLD’S CHAMPION 18-FOOTER. SYDNEY, Jan. 30. The final heat in the world’s championship for 18-footers resulted: Victor (Queensland) 1. Taree (New South Wales) 2, Marjorie (Queensland) 3. Of the New Zealand boats Irina finished eighth, Vaalele tenth, Alanene thirteenth and Riptide fourteenth. None was at any time dangerous. The championship points were: Taree 637, Victor 321, Aberdare 257, Alarjorie 94, Irina 74.
