AMAZING RESULTS. Received February 1, 1.15 p.m. VANCOUVER, Jan. 31. The use of insulin as a diabetic serum in a provincial asylum is lepoited to be producing a startling improvement in insanity patients. Out ot twenty patients upon whom the experiments were carried out eight were cured, while of the remainder 80 per cent, ’improved. Heavy doses produce a diabetic-nk'-coma from which the patients are revived by feeding with sugar. It is necessary for a doctor and nurse to stand by during the coma in case the patients drop near death, V 3 ” must be hastily administered to them.
