It is learned from Berlin that the trial of the Titian-haired 'Polish society beauty., Countess Borigia ielopolsket. will open soon. It is understood that the charge, is espionage. Tlie Countess is tall arid slender and always exquisitely dressed. She is conspicuously beautiful. She left a six-vear-old daughter on her estate near Zdolbunow. Her husband sought news vainly and eventually a diplornat in Berlin informed him that he had seen the Countess arrested by the secret police. . k The Countess later wrote to her hushand from a prison in Berlin, since when no one has been allowed to see her. Her friends say that espionage is unthinkable because the Countess did not speak German well and had travelled only rarely.
