LONDON WOOL SALES.
LATE RATES MAINTAINED. Received January 29, 1 p.m. LONDON, Jan. 28. At the wool sales 7570 bales were offered, including 660 from New Zealand; 0790 bales were sold. There was a fair selection chiefly of Merinos and a fair demand, late rates generally being maintained. New Zealand scoured halfbred crutcliings, branded Wairuna, averaged lid, top price, 13Jd.
