PLUNKET SHIELD SIDE.
GALLICHAN NOT AVAILABLE. N. Gallichan has advised the Wellington Cricket Association that he is not available to play in the Wellington Plunket Shield side against Dunedin. The match commences on February 5 (Saturday) and eight for nine days are required for participation in the match Gallichan, who was absent for a considerable period last year when he was with the New Zealand team in England and has also had leave since his return, did not wish to seek further leave. T. L. Pritchard (Manawatu) and M. P. Donnelly (Taranaki) are other country members of the Wellington team. '
