Receiving a call by telephone, the Fire Brigade was summoned to the intersection of Broadway and Albert Street at 2.25 p.m. on Saturday, but it was found that the resident making the call had mistaken smoke from a rubbish fire as that from a more serious blaze. The call was regarded as quite justifiable under the circumstances.
