IMPROVEMENT, 7.3 (O’Sullivan) ... 1 SHAKESPEARE, 7.12 (Persons) ... 2 KINSFOLK, 7.5 3 Also started; Glcnarm. A head; a length. Time, 2.6. CARLINGFORD MlLE.—Housemaster, 8.7 (Bartlc) 1; Sailmaker, 8,11, 2; Morning Gift, 8.5, 3. Eight started, including Red Rosebud. A head; a length. Time, 1.40. Cleopatra was unplaced in the Flying Handicap. RED MANFRED AT ASCOT. MELBOURNE, Jan. 30. Results at the Ascot races were:— INVERNESS HANDICAP.
