HOMERIC’S BIG PRICE. SYDNEY, Jan. 28. At the thoroughbred sales to-day Homeric, who is a two-vear-old brother of Homer, was bought by Mr A. Palfreymau, of Melbourne, for 1900 guineas. The horse is to remain in G. Price’s stables. Nightingale was sold to Mr P. Miller for 450gns. to go to Jones’s Ivia Ora stud. Carry On, who was sold to Mr R. Dangar for 425gn5., will be mated with Peter Pan. Jocular was sold to Mr Alan Cooper for 650gns.
