WINDOWS SMASHED.
CAMPAIGN IN VIENNA. VIENNA, Jan. 29. Sentence of four months’ imprisonment has been imposed on a Jew. Michael Levenschuss, who smashed a window ’at the German official tourist office in which Herr Hitler’s portrait was displayed. Levenschuss’s action started a campaign of window-smashing, which continues. Most of the victims are Jewish shopowners. The damage is estimated at £4OOO.
