PREHISTORIC REMAINS.

DISCOVERIES IN ITALY. (Times Gables.) LONDON, Jan. 28. The correspondent of the Times at Milan says the remains of a prehistoric pile of dwellings, believed to be 4000 years old, were unearthed during the construction of a port on Lake Garda. Numerous earthenware utensils, together with hones of men aiid animals of the Bronze Age, were found. The Government has suspended excavations, pending an examination.
