INCREASE IN ENTRIES
FINE DISPLAY OF STOCK
Favoured with larger entries than last year and record public patronage for a first day, the Horowhenua A and P Association’s -32nd annual Show opened at Levin yesterday under ideal weather conditions. The excellent quality of the stock exhibits testified to the high standard of farming maintained in a district noted for its productivity. , The entries totalled 1389, compared with 1288 last year, there being a particularly pleasing increase in the cattle section, while the sheep classes again attracted good support.
