ADVENTISTS’ CAMP
CONCLUSION OF GATHERSING. Yesterday the business sessions of tho Seventh-Day Adventist Conference were concluded, although the camp meeting and public services continue until Sunday night. Yesterday the conference expressed their sincere appreciation of the action of the Manawatu and West Coast Agricultural and P'astroal Association in granting them the use of their Showfor the conference and camp meeting. Thanks were also expressed to tho Wellington Gas Company for the very fine gesture in supplying free of cost ranges, boilers and ovens for use in the camp community kitchen. _ During the last few days the ministers and workers of conference, have presented their reports, in each _ of which progress had been recorded. Yesterday the various stations for conference workers were read by the chairman. Among them were noted the following:—Evangelists J. L. A. Lawson and I. White and Miss Prescott, Palmerston North; Pastor M. H. Whittaker, Hastings-Napier; Evangelists L. Graham and L. H. Hay, Dannevirke; Evangelists K. Wooller, Dargaville; Evangelist W. P. Claus, Paeroa-Tliames; Pastor G. Pobinson and Miss V. Flanigan, New Plymouth; Pastor J. D. Anderson, Gisborne; Pastor N. C. Burns, D. H. Watson, J. H Wade and Miss Johnstone, Auckland; Pastor C. A. Paap, Tauranga-
Whakatane; Pastor S. T. Leeder and It. N. Heggie, Te Arolia; Pastor F. L. Sharp, Auckland; A. G. Judge, Hamilton; P. Glockler, WellingtonPetone; W. H. Stevens, general circuit work.
The conference very much appreciates the services rendered by the various business firms in Palmerston North and the kind attention given by the residents.
On Friday evening Pastor C. A. Wriglev was the preacher, his suhject being “Life’s Greatest Question —What Must I do to be Saved.’’
The campers have greatly appreciated the services of Dr C. AV. Harrison, medical superintendent of the Sydney sanitarium, who has been in attendance. His practical talks and lectures have been much appreciated. To-morrow will be the last day of the camp meetings. The preachers will be Pastor Robert Hare, who many years ago was a minister in Palmerston North, Pastor N. C. Burns, and Evangelist J. L. A. Lawson, who is to be stationed in Palmerston North.
