STORMY SCENE

IN BELGIAN CHAMBER

(United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.)

LONDON, Jan. 27. The Daily Telegraph’s Brussels representative says the most violent scene ever witnessed in tile Chamber of Deputies occurred after a member of the Rex Party accused the former Minister of Transport (M. Jaspar) with supplying aeroplanes to the Spanish Government.

M. Jaspar called the Rexist a rascal and then rushed and struck him on the face and threw him to the ground. The Chamber became an uproar, Liberals, Socialists and Communists rushing toward the Rexist benches and engaging in a running fight. One Rexist was knocked down by a Communist and another struck on the head by a chair.

The President temporarily suspended the sitting. Two Rexists were later expelled from the House for eight days.
