TENSION IN PALESTINE.
HEBREWS APPREHENSIVE. (Times Cables.) Jan. 27. The Jerusalem correspondent of the Times states that, despite the enrolment of 800 Jewish volunteer patrols, the Hebrew community is apprehensive owing to repeated attacks on the main roads, resulting in deaths and mutilaHeavy rain hampers the British troops in the Hebron district. _ An Arab boy was shot dead in the Jewish quarter of Bczaiel.
