RAID ON HANGCHOW.

Received January 29, 11.5 a.m. SHANGHAI, Jan. 28. The Chinese report that they have crossed the Cheintang River and are attacking Fuyang despite a fierce Japanese barrage. The Chinese have tightened the circle round Tsining. The Chinese again carried out an air raid on Hangchow. Their air force, during the last fortnight, has been reinforced by 250 of the most modern ’planes and 150 fresh Chinese and foreign airmen.
