LONDON, Jan

The Times correspondent at Peking says that reports reaching North China from trustworthy sources confirm the recent reports from Hankow that, large quantities of Soviet arms are reaching China. Careful observers report seeing at least 600 armoured cars traversing the Sinkiang Province into Kansu Province, and over 200 aeroplanes, mostly the fast fighter types, hut also some multi-engined bombers. Large bodies of workers are reported to be busy improving ' and metalling the roads through Sinkiang Province to facilitate traffic between China and Russia.
