Mr W E Parry (New Zealand Minister of' Internal Affairs) visited the athletes’ village and met the New Zealand Games team this afternoon, lie spent some time with them and learned that they were perfectly comfortable. Happy speeches were made in which good wishes were exchanged with the team manager. Yesterday* s casualties totalled 0040. AUSTRALIA v. EMPIRE. RAIN STOPS PLAY.

Received January 28, 8.5 a.m. SYDNEY, Jan. 27.
