ALEXANDRETTA DISPUTE.
Received January 27. 11.40 a.m. GENEVA. Jan. 26. The League Council will not meet in public to-day. It is understood that one of the thorniest questions, namely the Alexandretta dispute has been settled as a result of direct Franco-Turkish negotiation.
