VALENCIA RAIDED
HAVOC BY ’PLANES. 125 KILLED. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegrapit—Copy right.) Received January 27, 2.10 p.m. MADRID, Jan. 27. An official announcement states that six insurgent ’planes raided Valencia bombing first the port and then the city and killing 125 and injuring 208. BRITISH CAPTAIN KILLED. The dead include Captain Arnold Crone, skipper of the British ship Cover Abbey, which was loading oranges.

VALLADOLID BOMBED

The Government claims advances north-west of Teruel and also asserts that the Loyalists have captured three hills in the south-west.
A message from Madrid states thal Government ’planes raided Valladolid, dropping seven tons of bombs on the station and railway workshops. Explosions indicated that a munition dump had been blown up.
