TAXATION PAYMENTS. Taxation on the Ashhurst-Pohangina Racing Club’s Anniversary Day meeting amounted to £1520 13s 9d, allowing an increase of £312 12s over the payments made for last year. Totalisator tax accounted for £693 0s sd, dividend tax £757 17s, stakes tax £l2 10s, and amusement tax £57 6s 4d.
