AJARTON. Jan. 26. The annual picnic of the Alarton Junction Women’s Institute was held in the bush on Air Gronn’s property. The results of the races are as follow: —Boys, 6 to 8 years, Teddy Gibbons 1, Lewis Hainsworth 2; 9 to 10 years, Walter Hainsworth 1, Ron Baxter 2; 11 to 12 years, L. Baxter 1, C. Stantiall 2; three-legged, Teddy Gibbons and Ron Baxter 1, L. Baxter and C. Stantiall 2. Girls’ race, 9 to 10 years, Audrey Ilainsworth 1, Audrey Winchcombe 2, Gwen Stantiall 3; three-legged race, Doris Winchcombe and Shirley Stantiall 1, Audrey and Edna Ilainsworth 2, Clesta Price and Alarion Ilainsworth 3; over 15 years, Aliss D. Walker 1, Miss AI. Slight 2; young women’s race. Miss O. Meyer 1, Aliss E. Watts 2; mixed women’s race, Miss Aleyer 1, Mrs Franke 2; married women’s race, Mrs Lewis 1, Airs Ilainsworth 2; women’s walking race, Airs Price 1, Airs Winter 2, Aire Poppe 3.
