With a favourable trade balance of 262.000,000 dollars, the United States in 1937 consolidated her position as the world’s leading exporter. Imports totalled 3,084,000,000 dollars, a gam of 661,000,000 on 1936, and exports totalled 3,346,000,000, a gain of 890,000,000.
