Miss Clarice Sapwell, of Roy Street, Palmerston North, who is spending a holiday in Rotorua and Tauranga, will later proceed to Auckland, where Bhe will in future reside.

Miss D. E. Horton, M.A., lately on the staff of the Girls’ High School. Palmerston North, has been appointed additional teacher at the Matamata District High School in accordance with the school’s rise in grade. Mr Carter is arranging to visit the Dominion with his wife, who is a brilliant pianist, in 1940. Regret was expressed at the monthly meeting of the Palmerston North Hospital Women’s Auxiliary, which was held yesterday afternoon, at the pending departure from Palmerston North of Mrs W. M. Huntington, who has capably carried out the combined duties of secretary and treasurer for some time.
