The final of the championship doubles was played at the Dominion croquet tournament to-day and resulted in a win by a narrow margin for F. L. Hartnell (New Plymouth) 'and Mrs Morgan (Hamilton), who heat F. C. Bryan and Mrs Bryan, of Waimarie Club, Lower Hutt. Results of tho day’s play were : OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP. Third round.—J.
