ATTACK BY INSURGENTS. BARCELONA, Jan. 25. An official statement records that Republican warplaries, dropping 14 bombs, drove off the insurgent cruisers Canarias and Almirante Cervera, which were attacking Port Briu. The warships engaged the aircraft with "arhies" and machine-guns, and finally after half an hour retreated under cover of a smoke-screen. Insurgent 'planes twice bombed Reus, killing 22 and wounding 30.
