COLOURFUL SCENE.

RECEPTION AT AUCKLAND: Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Jan. 25. There was a colourful parade at the Auckland railway station to-day, when Auckland gave a warm welcome to Major Blenkinsop, of England, national field organiser of the Girls’ Life Brigade, who arrived from Wellington to attend the Dominion conference at Auckland in the coming weekend. Thirty girls formed a guard of honour and prominent officials of the New Zealand movement greeted Major Blenkinsop. A reception was held later at the Unity Hall.
