CONTACT WITH TOKIO. (Times Cables.) Received January 25, 2.10 p.m LONDON, Jan. 24. The Times Berlin correspondent states that, despite the recent hints of no further intervention, it is asserted that the German Government is still in-close contact with Tokio advising against the renewal of a strong antiChinese offensive in view of the fact that Japan's hands are already full and further hostilities may create chaos, defying the Japanese attempts at reconstruction' for many years, also nullifying opportunities for German trade.
