BULGARIAN CRISIS
CABINET DISAGREEMENT. MINISTERS RESIGN. SEQUEL TO ELECTIONS. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Times Cables.) LONDON, Jan. 24. The Sofia correspondent of the Times says that a Cabinet disagreement has resulted in the resignations of General Loukoff (War Minister) and M. Krasnovsky (Minister of the Ulterior), who are replaced by General Daskaloff (Commander of the Plevna garrison) and Dr. Nicolaelf (former Minister of Education).
It is believed that’ the dispute was due to the elections fixed for March 6, which General Loukoff, as spokesman for the army, feared might result in the resurrection of political battles, which officers who engineered the coup of 1934 extorted a promise from the King should not happen. General Loukoff’s resignation surprised the public, as he was believed to enjoy King Boris’s special confidence, but the fact that both he and M. Krasuovsky have resigned indicates that the King is determined without deviation to carry out liie policy.
