NOTES.
Feilding excursionists to Wellington yesterday totalled 65, as compared with the previous Sunday’s number of 42. Mr O. Sporlc. superintendent of the Feilding Fire Brigade, lias received a letter from Messrs Duncan and Short in appreciation of the brigade’s services in connection with the fire which damaged their premises in November. The letter was accompanied by a cheque for £5 towards the brigade’s social fund.
