HAWKE CUP CRICKET.
SOUTH AUCKLAND’S DATES. The Manawatu Cricket Association has arranged that the South Auckland challenge for the Hawke Cup will be played on February 11, 12 and 14 (a Friday, Saturday and Monday). Recently the Manawatu Association asked tlie South Auckland body if it would be possible for the date ot the match to be fixed for March (instead of the end of February) in order to allow the Wellington Minor Associations team to play in Auckland. The South Auckland Association countered with a proposal that the dates could he advanced instead of put back, and, in view of the fact that there was no match on January 22, arrangements were made for tho match to be placed earlier instead of later.
