ATLANTIC FLIGHTS.
THREE ITALIAN BOMBERS. Received January 25, 8.5 a.m. ROME, Jan. 24. Lieutenant Bruno Mussolini, a son of the Duce, took off from Guidonia this evening on a South-Atlantic flight at 6.45 p.m. Three triple-engined high-speed bombers of the Savoia Marchetti type, are participating. The leader, Colonel Biseo, is a record flier and privato pilot to the Duce. The other machines are piloted by Lieutenant Bruno Mussolini, and Captain Moseatelli. The route is across the Sahara Desert and over the South Atlantic to Brazil. The machines, which departed in close triangle fighting formation, won the first three places in the recent Istre-Damascus-Paris air race. They have participated in bombing raids on Barcelona and other cities from the base at Palma (Majorca). A later message from Dakar (French West Africa) states that Lieutenant Mussolini and the other Italian aviators have arrived there.
