A young man slapped a girl’s face in the village of Omarska, Bosnia, upon which f)00 peasants took pa»t in a battle with knives, sticks and revolvers, resulting' in six being killed and 02 injured, some severely. The old feud between the Serbian and Mohammedan sections of population has been brewing for a long time. The battle lasted throughout the day and the police had to be reinforced hy the military forces. Three houses were demolished.
