WRECKAGE OF ’PLANE.

FOUND IN PERSIAN GULF. BASRA, Jan. 22. The wreckage of a ’plane believed to belong to the French airman, M. Moench, who was. reported missing when flying home to see nis sick infant child, has been found in the Persian Gulf. No trace of the pilot was found.

PILOT-OFFICER’S FATE.

Received January 24. 11 a.m. MALTA. Jan. 23,

Pilot-Officer Charles Heher Percy, who was related to the Duke of Northumberland, was practising landing on the aircraft-carrier Glorious, when his machine stalled, spun and fell into the sea, and sank. The body has not been recovered.
