The Government is co-operating with a young inventor of a craft capable or operating in the air or on and under the water which, as a seaplane, woulc. ho able to reach the ’ scene ot operations 20 t'mes quicker than a submarine, while it would also lie able to bide under the water. Six .machines are being constructed for training puiposes.
