FEILDING SALE.
AUCTIONEERS’ REPORT. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd,, report on the Feilding sale as under:—A heavy entry of sheop again came forward, tho entry being composed principally of lambs with just odd pons of 5 and 6-yeav ewes. The market throughout, remained firm on the previous week’s rates and we report a 100 per cent, clearance at auction. A tip-top line of shorn wether lambs offered on account of Mr A. Bartlett, Kimbolton, sold from 17s to 17s 6d, this line being well grown, good boned, r early shorn meaty. lambs. Another good line of early shorn wothcr lambs offered by us on account of Mr R. W. Brown, Col,yton, realised 16s lOd. A small offering of fat sheep sold at slightly reduced rates to those ruling at the previous week s fix ture. A small offering of station cattle was submitted and here we report, no alteration on the previous week’s sale, lhe usual entry of fat cattle, composed principally of cows cx the dairy, sold at rates hardly up to those ruling the previous week! Fat sheep: Lambs, 17s, 19s, 22s 9d; wethers, 18s, 21s 3d, 235, 23s Id, 24s 2d, 25s 9d. Store sheep; Wether lambs, 8s Id, 10s 7d, 11s Id, 12s 6d, 13s Id, 14s Id, 15s 4d, 15s 6d, 16s, 16s lOd, 17s 6d; owo lambs, 13s Bd, 15s 3d; b.f. lambs, 11s Bd, 13s 3d, 14s Id, 16s 6d, lfa lQd, 17s Bd, 18s Id; 2-th wethers, 21s 4d. 2-th ewes, 23s 6d, 30s Id; 5-yr ewos, 18s 6d. Fat cattle; P.A. cows £,6 10s, £7; cows and vealers, £5 12s 6d; vealers, £3; cows, £4 ss, £4 10s. £4 15s, £4 17s 6d. £5 2s od, £5 ss, £5 Bs, £5 10s, £5 12s 6d, £7.
